Crypto converter
Convert between US dollars and the 100 largest cryptocurrencies, or between two coins, at live prices.
How it works
Every coin has a price in US dollars. To convert coin A into coin B, the converter works out A's dollar value and divides by B's price: amount × price of A ÷ price of B.
For exact conversions between bitcoin and satoshis, or ether, gwei and wei, use the unit converter. For XRP, there's a dedicated XRP calculator. To compare two coins side by side, see the coin comparisons.
Questions
Why is my exchange's rate different?
Prices here are averages across many exchanges. Each exchange has its own price, plus fees and a spread, so you'll usually receive a little less than this shows.
Which coins are included?
The 100 largest by market cap at the moment, as listed by CoinGecko. The list updates as rankings change.
Does a low price per coin mean a coin is cheap?
No. The price per coin depends on how many coins exist. Compare market caps instead; see market cap explained.
